Senator Scott Ryan is concerned that while the general unemployment rate is low, unemployment in Melbourne’s north and west is far higher than average. It is time that the Labor members in these areas – including Prime Minister Julia Gillard, Attorney-General Nicola Roxon, and Small Business Minister Brendan O’Conner – start to take their constituents’ concerns seriously and stop introducing economically damaging policies.
